Overview Welcome to the Department of Medical Laboratory and Biotechnology at Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU). Established in 1966, we are the most historic medical technology education unit in central Taiwan. Over the past six decades, we have nurtured more than 3,000 alumni who are now actively contributing to various hospitals, research institutions, and biotech companies.

Our educational philosophy is centered around the "BMW" concept: cultivating talents with profound knowledge in Bioscience, diverse professional skills in Medical Technology, and logical thinking with lifelong learning Wisdom.
